This is our belief...
The Scriptures?
The Holy Bible was written by men divinely inspired and is the record of God's revelation of Himself to man.
God?
God is merciful. God is love (1 John 4:8b). God is also just and must punish sin (Exodus 34:7b).
Who is Christ?
Christ is the infinite God-Man. What he did? He died on the cross and rose from the dead to pay the penalty for oue sins and to purchase a place in heaven for us. (Isaiah 53:6)
Man?
Man is a sinner. He cannot save himself.
Salvation?
Salvation involves the redemption of the whole man, and is offered freely to all who accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, who by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for the believer. In its broadest sense salvation includes regeneration, sanctification, and glorification. All men have sinned and the penalty is death. Jesus died on the cross to pay that death penalty and to provide salvation by grace for all who will believe on Him. Salvation can not be earned and is the free gift of God.
God’s Purpose of Grace?
Election is the gracious purpose of God, according to which He regenerates, sanctifies, and glorifies sinners. All true believers endure to the end.
The Church?
A New Testament church of the Lord Jesus Christ is a local body of baptized believers who are associated by covenant in the faith and fellowship of the gospel and seeking to fulfill the Great Commission of making disciples, baptizing them, and teaching them to obey all that Jesus commanded.
Baptism and the Lord's Supper?
Christian baptism is the immersion of a believer in water in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. It is an act of obedience symbolizing the believer’s faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior. The Lord's Supper is a symbolic act of obedience whereby members of the church, through partaking of the bread and the fruit of the vine, memorialize the death of the Redeemer and anticipate His second coming.
Family?
God has ordained the family as the foundational institution of human society. It is composed of persons related to one another by marriage, blood or adoption. Marriage is the uniting of one man and one woman in covenant commitment for a lifetime.
